Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American producer stage and screen actress, best well-known for her films in Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School for the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Her acting journey began with theater, and was later featured in a number of shows on television as well as independent and mainstream films. She came to prominence as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with praise from critics but also numerous nominations and awards including a Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Movie. She made her professional debut in the role of Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. The stage credits she has received include the Broadway performance of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. When it comes to her film career, her best-known roles include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. Her role as a regular on ABC's drama police series High Incident earned her praises.
